Domusnode is built by Val — a founder based in Northeast England deploying sovereign AI for UK manufacturing and professional services businesses. The entire company is built around a single conviction: AI projects fail when you skip the data work. So we never skip the data work.

Why data comes before AI

Sixty per cent of AI projects fail not because the technology doesn't work, but because the data it's trained on is messy, inconsistent, or incomplete. Most consultants skip this because data hygiene is unglamorous and slow. We made it Phase 2 of every engagement because skipping it means the AI behaves unpredictably after handover.

Every DOMUS deployment starts with a data audit. We find the problems — missing records, inconsistent formats, inaccessible files, access permissions that contradict policy — and we fix them before a single AI model is deployed. The client receives a documented data architecture alongside the running system. That documentation outlasts us.

You deal directly with the people who built it

Domusnode is a founder-led practice. There is no sales team, no project manager who passes your requirements to a developer you've never met, and no account manager who checks in quarterly. When you work with Domusnode, you work with the people who designed the methodology, built the stack, and will deploy it in your building.

As the company grows — through grants, partnerships, and new team members — this model stays the same. Direct access, named accountability, honest timelines. If capacity isn't right for your project, we'll say so. If it is, you'll know exactly who is doing what and why.

Every component of the DOMUS stack is open-source software. There are no monthly platform fees, no per-seat charges, and no vendor who can change the pricing model after we've built your system. You pay for the implementation work. After handover, the system costs you nothing in software licensing — now or in the future. You own the infrastructure. You own the configuration. We hand you the keys.
